CampgroundDescription
Enjoy bush camping by the beach at Bittangabee campground on the far south coast. Go fishing, swimming, snorkelling or look out for superb lyrebirds nearby.
There are 30 unmarked, unpowered sites suitable for tents, camper trailers, motorhomes and camping beside your vehicle. Facilities include picnic tables, barbecue facilities, carpark and non-flush toilets. There are rainwater tanks at the campground, but it's advisable to bring your own drinking water.
Park entry fees are not included in your camping fees. Book online or call the National Parks Contact Centre on 1300 072 757. There is no mobile phone coverage at the campground. It can be intermittent along the access road. Check the conditions before setting out, as the road to Bittangabee campground can become boggy when it rains.
