BOOKINGS REQUIRED - BOOK VIA HIPCAMP
Over 600 acres of Australian bush, our property dates back to the early 1900s and there are numerous historic buildings on the property. The earliest is a wooden slab hut that was built around the beginning of the 19th century - the Goulburn Penny Post newspaper, dated 3 December 1904 lines the walls of the hut. It also has a two shearing stand wooden shed built by Marcus Dawe in 1922.
The vegetation has been managed in a park-like setting, retaining the large trees and all the yellow box and rarer varieties of trees and plants. Owned by the Taber family since 1970s, we have run various enterprises on the property from breeding cattle, fine wool merino sheep, lavender, loganberries etc.
Dog & pet friendly. Shared camp kitchen (with pizza oven), fire place and amenities (toilets & hot showers) available. Campfires permitted in designated areas (check with the host on arrival). Lots of old-style games for the kids such as cricket, tennis, playground and general country running around fun!
