THINGS TO SEE AND DO NEARBY
Girilambone has taken its name from an Wongaibon Aboriginal word meaning 'place of many stars', 'falling star' or 'meteorite' - so make sure you take some time to gaze at the amazing night sky
The CWA War Memorial Park is dedicated to those who served in the First and Second World Wars, with a brick and timber gateway and a small white stone obelisk located on site
Grave of Helena Kerz at the Girilambone Cemetery - her story is so complex that it probably was told best as a novel which Thomas Keneally did brilliantly with 'The Chant of Jimmy Blacksmith'
