Gurley Recreational Area
CampgroundDescription
Gurley Recreation Ground is open again! Refurbished amenity blocks finished. Dedicated Ladies, Gents and Disabled. Please refrain from using talcum powder in the amenity blocks. It is a slip hazard. Daily fee will increase to $15 per night from 1st October 2022, and 72 hour stay per visitor. New concrete pad has gone in, and there will soon be an under cover BBQ area available with seating for happy hour drinks. Karen and Brendan have full time jobs, so won't be there to greet you. There are only 6-8 sites available with power and water, so it's first in best dressed. There are no bookings. This site is run by volunteers, so please don't ring after 8pm.
Please remember that we have black soil here at Gurley, which gets very boggy when wet. Please stay on the gravelled area, or you will get bogged. This paid campground offers toilets, showers, drinking water and power hookups. It is dog friendly. It is accessible to RVs, camper trailers, caravans and big rigs. Camping in tents is allowed. Ring when you get to the gate. Just go and camp and leave your money in the honesty box, which is behind the door in the disabled amenity block. Thanks for your support. It's your fees that allow us to keep things improving. For anyone who doesn't have cash our direct deposit details are:
