Description

We are only 22k's off the bitumen from the Cunnamulla/ Bourke road, and the same distance off the Hungerford to Bourke road, the road is mostly red soil and a couple of gravel hills ( it's only got to smell like rain and the council closes all the roads), so please check with us if you are concerned. It's spring time already and the wild flowers are beautiful in appearance and the smell is superb. Plenty of unpowered caravan sites available on the banks of the beautiful Warrego River $25 per night, 4 powered sites $35 per night. There's plenty of free wood you can collect for a camp fire, yabbies ( fresh water cray fish) and fish you can have a go at catching. There's lots of bird life, beautiful sunsets and sunrises over the expanse of water, with an incredible view of the stars at night. We love showing off our piece of paradise to our guests and offer farm tours, when we can fit you in, we are both local to the area and can answer most of your questions about the district, plants, animals and bird life. We also have 4 modern 2 bedroom cabins available and have just finished our community kitchen, with a shower/ toilet now connected and working .When the kitchen is completely set up with an oven and fridge,we will then offer catering for group bookings. Not recommend for children under 5 years old because of the expanse of water. You can bring your fur babies, we just ask that you keep them on a leash or contained, for their safety and our livestock. NO DOGS ALLOWED IN CABINS or community kitchen (due to some guests having allergies). We are running the farm, so are not always at the house to take your call, so please send a text, leave a message or send an email. And if your going past and have no reception try the 2way radio or call at the house. UHF 17 Phone 0456398404 Or email; lowerlilaretreat2022@gmail.com
