Bush camping on the beautiful Bungawalbin Creek. There is plenty of space and great swimming and fishing. Advanced booking required.
Northern Rivers Bush Camp is set on a 190 acre working cattle property with 3.6 km of deep river frontage plus a large internal lake. The river is tidal and we are located where the freshwater meets the salt making for some interesting fishing, fresh and saltwater fish have been caught here. There are plenty of areas to play cricket or kick a ball and plenty of shady areas if you just want to sit back and relax.
We are 90 minutes south of the Gold Coast with a tarred road to the gate. We have excellent access for 2WDs, caravans and large motorhomes. Great mobile phone reception. Located 13 km - about a 10 minute drive from Woodburn and 24 km about a 25 minute drive to Evans Head IGA and 4WD Beach access.
Exclusive use of private boat ramp on the property. Boating enthusiasts can explore the river system easily and the area is known for its Bass fishing (seasonal). Powerboats, canoes and kayaks can all be used in the river.
We now have a brand new flushing toilet, centrally located to the main camping areas. We are dog friendly.
