Redhills Road Gravel Pit
CampgroundDescription
Gravel clearing in the Meryla State Forest accessible to 4WD vehicles, tents, camper trailers and off-road caravans. There are no facilities. Campers must be self-sufficient. Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace.
There are no toilet facilities at this site. If you do not have your own toilet, bury human waste at least 100m from tracks and water bodies. Bury toilet paper or bag and dispose of in a bin once you leave the site.
Choose a campsite carefully, at least 20 metres from the edge of any stream or waterway. Use existing areas for camping and do not clear or damage trees and plants.
Do not cut standing timber, alive or dead, for firewood. Use established fireplaces wherever possible. Never leave a campfire unattended and extinguish campfires properly before leaving. Be aware of fire regulations (especially Total Fire Bans) and promptly report all bushfires by calling 000.
State forests permit dogs, but visitors should keep them under control and on a lead at all times.
