Description

The Royal Hotel Grong Grong has been purchased and refurbished by the local community. It is open from 3pm Mon-Tues, 12pm till late Wed-Sun serving lunch and dinner Wednesday to Sunday. The Royal is again welcoming campers on-site behind the pub. No cost to camp but please support the pub with your patronage. A bit rough out back at the moment but plans are afoot to clean it up and provide showers, firepits and other facilities for campers. Currently there are toilets open 24/7 but no power or water. There is free camping with a barbecue and amenity block including hot shower, at Grong Grong Earth Park, a short walk via the railway crossing.
