Perched on a sandy peninsula by the Sandon River mouth in the Yuraygir National Park, Sandon River campground presents you with river on one side and protected ocean on the other. Not only does this mean million-dollar views, but easy access for fishing, swimming and boating.
There are 29 unpowered sites, suitable for tents, Camper trailers, Caravans, Motorhomes and Camping beside your vehicle.
Facilities include; picnic tables, barbecue facilities, boat ramp, public phone and toilets.
This is a remote campground, so please arrive well-prepared. You can buy basic supplies in Brooms Head village 12.5km away.
A 2 night minimum stay applies during NSW and QLD school holidays and NSW long weekends. Park entry fees apply and are not included in your camping fees.
Check the weather before you set out road can get very boggy with a lot of rainfall and water flowing over little bridge.
