If you love nature and a place ALL TO YOURSELF then this is the site for you. This is a ONE SITE only camping area, especially for those that love peace and quiet and a lot of noisy birdlife. Come and camp out on the edge of the wetlands at Shark Creek Retreat and enjoy this is a beautiful location set in a conservation environment where you can kick back, enjoy the vista, listen and see the many birds in Shark Creeks very own National Ark.
A rustic camp, a hot spot for birds, 136 property species to date, including breeding Brolgas and Coastal Emus. Kayaks available to use on the creek just enquire when you get here.
As this is nature reserve where all flora and fauna is protected, be mindful of your pooches, kiddies and waste. Well behaved fur babies and kiddies free camping ;o)
You will need to be self sufficient in every way, only bring what you can take away.
Lots to do in the Clarence Valley so come and have a little R&R at Shark Creek Retreat. ALL camp fees go towards planting more trees and conservation works, so that a carbon footprint TICK!
