The Tuena Camping and Picnic Ground is a lovely flat spot along the babbling creek in the Historic village of Tuena known for its rich history in gold mining. The camping and picnic grounds include an amenities block, barbecue, potable water, covered tables and is pet-friendly.
Tuena is an old gold mining town, fossickers still try their luck in Tuena creek or at the Abercrombie River a short drive to the north.
Powered and unpowered sites are available and suitable for tents, camper trailers, caravans, motorhomes and big rigs. Facilities include toilets, hot showers, water, playground, picnic tables, bins and fire pits.
Pop into the local Parsons General Store for payment for your overnight stay and for information about fossicking. The Goldfields Inn is closed but it is the oldest Wattle and Daub pub in Australia.
