Yarrawin Camping
CampgroundDescription
Yarrawin Camping is a scenic 680acre beef cattle farm on the Mid North Coast, exactly half way between Sydney and Brisbane. Our campsites are very private and are scattered along the creek, each with their own exclusive swimming hole and river gravel beach. There are also bush camping areas up one of the valleys.
We offer scenic and secluded, level sites where you will enjoy swimming in the cool fresh water and the company of friendly horses, grazing cattle, a variety of birds, cute turtles, ducks and the sound of fish jumping in the creek. A generous sized rock fire pit can provide warmth and ambiance while you relax and stargaze at night.
Firewood is free for the first night.
Only a scenic 30 minute drive to the beautiful beaches of Nambucca Heads.
The Bowraville Hotel, built in 1912, in the verandah post town of Bowraville is worth a visit, as are the museums and the great bakery.
There are 2wd and 4wd access sites but 4wd is recommended.
