Bellevue Hill Reserve & Playground
Day Use AreaDescription
Comprising a large space for unstructured recreation, playground equipment, shaded picnic facilities, free barbecues and public amenities, Bellevue Hill Reserve is one of Cowra's most popular parks. To many local residents, the Reserve is referred to as 'Billy Goat Hill' after its steep nature and the goats that were once kept there.
At the top of the hill, you have a superb view of Cowra, which is nestled beside the meandering Lachlan River.
Bellevue Hill is also the location of the Cowra Nature Based Adventure Playground. The playground has recently added a nine metre climbing frame, and plans are underway to include an Indigenous dance circle and amphitheatre, as well as a flying fox.
No camping or overnight parking.
