Cooma Centennial Park
Day Use AreaDescription
Centennial Park is located right in the centre of Cooma CBD.
Within the park is the historic 'Avenue of Flags' and the 'Cooma Mosaic Time Walk' murals depicting the history of the region. The park is alive with spectacular historic trees and ablaze with colour during Autumn. The park has toilet facilities (wheelchair and pram access), picnic tables, children's playground and public bus stop. A recent addition to the park (2019) is a sculpture by one of the Nations most respected artists Rix Wright. The 'Shearer' is representation of life on the Monaro and it's strong agricultural and wool industries. Another spectacular sculpture is the 'Man From Snowy River'.
