Description

This is a great spot to access Pool of Siloam walk and Lyrebird Dell. You can either walk a return 1.5km trail to the Pool of Siloam or turn just before to take in the Lyrebird Dell trail. Both are moderate walks. The pool trail is almost all steps for its 1.5km trail, adding Lyrebird adds app 200m and has a picnic area under a rock shelf plus another small waterfall and pool. The gradient isn't as steep but the trail after the tree of remembrance is partially blocked by fallen trees and scrub so exit the path to the road at this point. This day use area offers toilets, nice scenery and walking tracks. Dogs are not permitted. No camping or overnight parking allowed.
