Day Use AreaDescription
Moonee Beach is not patrolled though is very popular with fishing enthusiasts. Moonee Beach Reserve, where Moonee Creek meets Moonee Beach, is a popular area for locals and visitors alike with smaller children.
The reserve offers shallow water for the younger children and dogs on leash, with many parts of the creek shaded by trees hence the perfect place to sit in the refreshing water with the little ones. The reserve boasts many facilities such as a playground, picnic shelters, barbecues, toilets, beach showers, a takeaway shop and a caravan park. You can also take a stroll to the headland via the boardwalk bridge, across the creek, and then follow the bush paths.
No camping or overnight parking.
