This rest area is located on the Sydney to Newcastle Freeway 79km from Sydney and is accessible to vehicles travelling in both directions. Rest areas are a place where you can stop and rest, making your journey safer and more enjoyable. You can stop at a rest area to rest ad manage fatigue however they are not intended as camping sites and stays longer than 24 hours are not permitted. New signs state No Camping and can only park for 2-4hrs in designated spots. No overnights permitted. Facilities include: Toilets, picnic tables, rubbish bins and playground.
