Description

4WD access to Grants Beach. Length 2km. Offers nice scenery, wildlife viewing, walking tracks, cycling tracks, 4wd tracks and swimming. It is dog friendly. It is accessible to four wheel drives with permits available from local council, $32 for 30 days or $64 annually. Permit holders must: Obey the 50km/h speed or 25km/h speed limit when within 100m of people. Give people the right of way at all times and keep within a safe distance of other beach users. Not travel above the high water mark on all beaches except when crossing the beach to and from officially constructed access points and designated boat launching sites. No camping or overnight parking allowed.
