Description

Between the old village of Upper Bingara and the Barraba end of the Barraba Road loop. The grass trees are giants, some as tall as 3 metres to the leaf base and with a spear flower up to 4 metres higher.  Incredible when you think that they only grow a metre every 100 years?  They can live to be 1,000 years old.
