Do not block the fire trail gate when parking here. From here starts the walk: Kaputar plateau walk 8km - medium - 4h Follow the road downhill past Doug Sky Lookout. Scutts Trail turns off to the left just before Bark Hut. At the fork, take Rocky Plateau Firetrail left to visit Lairds Lookout and Ranger Lookout, returning to the trailhead. The track winds through a variety of landscapes and vegetation and is a great way to experience how vegetation changes with attitude altitude and aspect.
