Description

Standing high on a narrow headland, Smoky Cape Lighthouse is surrounded by the stunning coastal scenery of Hat Head National Park. It's a short steep walk up the hill from the car park to the lighthouse. Smoky Cape is a fantastic spot for whale watching, birdwatching and picnicking. Captain Cook lookout at the car park provides barbecues and picnic tables and amazing South West Rocks scenic views. National Park entry fees apply. Dogs are not permitted. No camping or overnight parking allowed.
