Head to scenic Mount Kaputar National Park, near Narrabri, to visit the new (2024) West Kaputar Rock lookout, which has recently been rebuilt following the devastating 2019-2020 bushfires. The new boardwalk and lookout offer panoramic views of the park's vast, rugged landscape including the grandeur of the basalt face of West Kaputar Rock, and are fully accessible for people of all ages and abilities, including those in wheelchairs.
Dogs are not permitted.
No camping or overnight parking allowed.
