Take a walk amongst subtropical rainforest and 600-year-old trees along the Wonga walk in Dorrigo National Park, home to the Tristania and Crystal Falls.
Distance: 6.6km loop
Time suggested: 2 - 3hrs
The 600-year-old trees, elevated boardwalk, colourful fungi, vines, and interesting bird calls are just some of the sights and sounds waiting for you on this walk. You'll also pass the cascading beauty of Tristania Falls, and kids will love the suspension bridge at Crystal Shower Falls where have the option to get down into a cavern and look through the veil of falling water.
There are some steeper sections along the walk, a few steps and some boulder crossings, but you can break the walk up into shorter sections.
Start your walk at Dorrigo Rainforest Centre, and take Lyrebird link track for 400m before joining Wonga walk.
Dogs are not permitted.
No camping or overnight parking allowed.
