Description
A colourful, cozy backpackers hostel with spectacular views. Built in 1911 as a ferry captains home and converted into a colourful backpackers hostel in 1980. It is ideally located on the banks of the Tweed River. It is small, friendly and personal. Ice cream is served at 9.00pm to gather guests together for light banter or games. A courtesy van provides transport to and from Mt Warning to guests who stay 2 nights, operating on the even dates. For those who stay 3 nights, free use of canoe and bicycle are available. There are 4 double twin rooms, an 8 bed male multishare room and an 8 bed female multishare room. Shared kitchen for self catering and social communal areas.
