The historic home 'Palmerston' was built in 1911 and it has been restored in line with the architecture of the time, while offering all the luxury and comfort of a world-class retreat. The 7 spacious and beautifully restored suites feature king sized beds, antique furniture, ensuites and many other contemporary touches such as Spa Baths, Wireless Broadband and heated bathroom floor tiles will ensure your stay is perfect. Luxurious full sized spa baths are available in threee of the premium suites and we have two Romance Suites with claw foot baths. Leisurely breakfasts in the beautifully restored drawing room overlooking the English gardens is a perfect beginning whilst relaxing in front of a roaring fire with an award winning wine in the Great Hall is a perfecting ending to your day. Evening meals are available for our in-house guests - bookings must be made by 4pm A short stroll through the gardens will find you at Petersons Armidale Winery Cellar Door where you can sample Petersons award winning cool climate wines. The gardens provide the perfect environment for a cheese platter and a bottle of wine, and on weekends we are open for an ever changing, seasonally inspired menu featuring local produce where-ever possible.
