The Clarendon Hotel has a unique blend of accommodation and entertainment facilities. Originally constructed in the 1930s, The Clarendon has been redeveloped to create a new stylish boutique hotel, whilst at the same time retaining it’s historical charm. We offer 20, 4-star boutique style rooms, located on both our first and second floors, serviced by a security-controlled lift. Each room has individually controlled air conditioning, its own ensuite, tea/coffee making facilities, free movies. free wifi and some have balconies. Our Suites offer additional kitchenette facilities such as a microwave, crockery, cutlery and a double sofa bed. For guests that wish to enjoy a night in, The Courtyard Brasserie at The Clarendon Hotel serves food from lunch through to dinner (Closed Sundays & Public Holidays). Room service is also available during restaurant hours. The Art Deco bar downstairs features one of Newcastle's largest ranges of Australian Craft Beer as well as Hunter Valley wines & exotic cocktails. Live entertainment is provided in the beer garden or front bar each Friday & Saturday evening from 8pm to 11:30pm.
