During the Second World War Barrow Creek was used by the Australian Army as a staging camp for convoys of troops and supplies. The area is signposted and has interpretive signage to help you find out more.
Large, flat area accessible to motorbikes, RVs, camper trailers, caravans and big rigs. Camping in tents is allowed.
There are no facilities. Campers must be self-sufficient. Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace.
No collecting of firewood or chopping down of trees.
Use bio degradable soaps only.
