Walk for miles on an often deserted beach. Small private block. If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing time Wagait Beach is it. 1 1/2 hour drive on bitumen from Darwin city. If you want a day in Darwin there is of course the 15 minute relaxing ferry ride. A people ferry, not a car ferry Small family club nearby, get picked up by the club bus and returned. Great weekends, live music on Sundays, Bingo every second Thursday. Campsite Tank water only, can be used sparingly. No water hook ups. Best to bring some extra No car washing. Please note. There is NO DUMP POINT in Wagait Beach!!! Small pool on site. DISCLAIMER for pool Friendly dogs only. Contained fire pits allowed as long as no restrictions. Sports ground nearby. Laundry use is $5 per load, no dryer - not needed 50mtr walk to beach. Great fishing, crabbing and awesome sunsets
