Description

Located in the Limmen National Park, Towns Rover Campground has a boat launch and toilets. Camping fees apply and are payable in advance, online. Access to the park: Maximum of 8 tonnes GVM weight limit & high-clearance 4WD Only. All roads within the Park are unsealed and can be closed due to seasonal flooding from November to May. Check Park road conditions by phoning 1800 246 199, or checking the road conditions website: www.roadreport.nt.gov.au. Ensure you have enough fuel and food for your journey through the Park. There are no services for 338 km between Roper Bar and Cape Crawford, although limited fuel and supplies are available at Limmen Bight Fishing Camp. Only use generators between 7.30am to 8.30pm. Be careful with fire and light fires only in fireplaces provided. Chainsaws are not permitted in the park. Pets are not permitted
