Wallace Rockhole is a small Aranda Aboriginal Community 117kms west of Alice Springs, just 70 minutes along Larapinta Drive. We offer camping, self contained accommodation, guided rockart tours where you will see ancient Aboriginal rockart, hand stencils, hear about bush medicine and tucker and the history of the Aranda people.
We also run an Aboriginal Dot Painting experience that helps people to have a better understanding of the Aboriginal art and culture that dates back thousands of years. The community also runs a pottery studio high fired stoneware 1285c with local art work.
Wallace Rockhole Tourist Park has a small store available for food and souviners. The store is open 7 days a week.
The local shire sells both diesel and unleaded fuel Monday to Friday during business hours.
