The path to the first viewing spot and plunge pool is wheelchair accessible. In the picnic area you can use the free gas barbecues to cook up some lunch or take a two-minute walk through the paperbarks to a beach and an amazing plunge pool. Note: The Gunlom walking track to the lookout and pools above the falls is closed at the request of the Traditional Owners until further notice. Be Crocwise: Swimming Ensure you observe all safety signs, and be aware that whenever you are near water in the park, there is a risk of crocs! Kakadu has Crocodile Management Zones to minimise risk to humans. Even in these zones you should be cautious. Crocodile warning signs and Crocodile Management Zones are not found everywhere. Dogs are not permitted. No camping or overnight parking allowed.
