Description

Free camping area beside the Barker Creek. There are no facilities. Don't come and stay unless you have your bucket or portable toilet. It's easy folks , you buy fancy vehicles and 4x4 equipment, but then no way to manage your own human waste . Shame Suitable for self-sufficient campers only. Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace. There is a maximum stay of 48 hours. Good bird watching site. Accessible via the Broadwater Access Road, accessible to conventional vehicles with care. There is a gate that needs to be opened, and then closed again upon entry and exit. Inside the gate, tracks become deep mud after rain. No fires.
