Closed from the 1st of December 2023 through to Mid March 2024. If you enjoy peace & quiet, (although the birds can be noisy!), inquisitive cows, and hungry horses but want space to enjoy, then please consider beautiful Julatten. We offer a very limited choice of campsites along side our two dams for fully self-contained travelers. Apart from a water point, we offer no other facilities, (the water is straight from our bore and isn't treated in any way). Your pet is welcome, but as we have cattle and horses , must be restrained or contained at all times. These sites are not fenced off from the stock. You're most welcome to have a fire but please use a fire pit. Access, through the gate for the larger rigs is very tight, if in doubt, check it out. But a 30 foot bus with a 20 foot trailer isn't going to get through!. Nearest dump point is at Rifle Creek rest area over at Mt Molloy. Mossman is 25 minutes drive with a large Woolworths, Port Douglas 35 minutes and a decent Coles supermarket. Mareeba 45 minutes with a larger variety of shopping available. Lastly, for some reason that we cannot fathom or fix , we've had trouble with Google Maps, please don't rely on it as it will send you down a no through road where you won't be able to turn around. IMPORTANT . This is not a public camping ground. Please call ahead first. Lastly if you're unable to get hold of Grant via the phone we also have a listing on Hipcamp under the same name.
