Curraghmore Station

Description
Curraghmore Station has campsites directly beside the McLeod and Mitchell Rivers- no known saltwater crocodiles, gazetted roads, or un-invited guests as each site has its own track in providing seclusion and privacy.
The McLeod and Mitchell Rivers are ideal for canoeing, kayaking, swimming, fishing (catch and release please), bird watching, wildlife watching or just sunset watching.
Star Gazing here is amazing!
There are number of camps that require 4wd access with varying levels of skill. For more information on each camp, please read photo description for more details. We do have a couple of sites that are suitable for 2wd access, but these are limited. We allow parking of 2wd vehicles at the homestead if your group can transport you with 4wd to your camp!
As we are a working cattle property, we have clearly communicated rules for visitors and camping. Please go through to the booking platform wherein you can view a list of those conditions. Campers are required to complete an camping induction and waiver form which is available on our website- Curraghmore Station Camping.
Alternatively Hipcamp will send you a link to download the form 48 hours before your stay.
NOTE- OUR DRIVEWAY IS 1.5KLM NORTH OF THE MCLEOD RIVER BRIDGE. We have an old drum as a mailbox- road marker 8579. Google Maps has our location
