Free camping area suitable for self-sufficient RV's. Donations greatfully accepted via a box at Information centre. Flat site, well treed. No facilities, no water, no power. Public toilets are in nearby Brolga Park (opposite sugar mill entrance). An easy 5 minutes walk from the camping area. Generally the area from the helipad back towards the School is closed for camping. Campers parked too close to the helipad (the raised section in the middle of the campground) may be asked to move by local police. Located next to a working sugar mill which is in operation 24/7 from June to December.
