Description

The property is situated in the historic and friendly township of Howard on 56 acres of land. Is it nature at its best, yet 600 meters to town and 300 meters from Bruce Highway. looking for a relaxing bush camping setup but you are hop and a step from Howard township. The best place for curry lovers. Spend your days at the beach, fishing or doing beautiful bush walks in the area. There is plenty to see and do here with Hervey Bay and Fraser Island close by as well. Ideal to do day trips to Fraser island and whale watching in Hervey bay from Howard bush town camp. Campers are required to be self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and take all waste with them on departure. We do have town water available from a tap near the main camp site for loading up your tanks and if you have long connecting horse connect water straight to caravan. We have facilities to provide few powered sites. We have a dirt track that runs around the property, 2 dams and plenty of fallen timber you are welcome to use for firewood. All you need and more is within 600 meters and it is just a short walk to the pub. Only 5 minutes to Burrum River, where you can launch your boat catch crabs, prawns, and plenty of fish. Only 18 minutes to Burrum Heads and Toogum beautiful beaches. Beautiful bamboo land is 5 minutes drive,a must see . Be on your beers all day you are on your holiday no need to drive.Walk to pub and town or get free ride to the pub from the booze bus. And if you are lucky you might get a free srilankan curry tasting..any given arvo Notes There will be a free roaming horse in the property. You are most welcome to enjoy her company but it's your responsibility to take precautions not to get kicked. Please note Some areas are still in finishing stage, tidying up
