Mossman Pool & Caravan Park
Caravan ParkDescription
Now Open!
On the Far North Queensland Coast, Douglas Shire Council has operated Mossman Pool and Caravan Park and it has been upgraded and refurbished in late 2019. Manicured lawns and rainforest vegetation are set amidst breathtaking mountinous scenery. Directly adjacent to the Mossman River, one of the many densly wooded waterways in this area, yet within walking distance to shops, restauraunts, hotels and the weekly weekend market.
The caravan park and public swimming pool is owned and has been operated by the Douglas Shire Council since taking over from previous Lesees in September 2019.
This modern park offers a large range of accommodation which includes shady powered and unpowered camping and caravan sites and two self-contained riverside cabins that can accomodate 4 persons. A separate camp kitchen and bathroom/laundry block offer complete facilities which are available to guests 24 hrs a day. The 50m pool next door is also free of charge to all registered guests.
