We have three fabulous cottages located on 12 acres of sweeping landscape in Mapleton on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Queensland, approximately 90 minutes drive from Brisbane CBD. The cottages are fully contained, having a kitchen, bbq on request, private deck, smart tv, log fire, air conditioning, spa bath and beautiful four-poster queen size beds draped with an elegant mosquito net. Our cottages are completely separate from each other with own car parking space and different view of the property. Cottage 1 has wheelchair access (there are no steps). Cottage 2 is mid-way down the property. Cottage 3 is closest to the creek a little further down the property. There is a map of the property (Green sign in front of main house) showing the location of your cottage and parking space down a short road towards the creek (Pencil Creek). The terrain falls gently down towards the creek at the bottom of the property and has easy access. The creek feeds Mapleton Falls, just a short distance away and a good place to visit for a short, scenic walk in the rain forest. We also have a dam with a fire pit\and seating next to it. Not too far away, there many magnificent walks varying in distance and terrain types. We are on the doorstep of the Sunshine Coast’s ‘The Great Walk’, which runs from Baroon Lake in Montville, up into Mapleton National Park. The magnificent Kondalilla Falls is along the way, and a dip in the water on a hot day is tempting.
