The Hallett Recreation and Camping Ground has expansive camping areas and is walking distance to the pub. Main entrance is through the Memorial gates on West Terrace, sign for Bowls/Tennis Clubs and CAMP 200mt. Follow track past Hub and the Grandstand. It is managed by HCSA volunteers for the community and is available for short stays (up to three days) for recreational vehicles (RVs), caravans and campers. Overnight tariff with power includes use of toilet and showers. Winter fire places, some wood available on request. Bike wash-down facilities are provided at the Precinct picnic area, follow the signs from the Mawson Trail at Jessie Street.
NB: there are only 2 x 15ah power outlets best to book ahead if absolutely need power.
Fees can be paid/keys collected by contacting the caretaker. Contact TRISH 0413 679 883.
While in Hallett, you are welcome to use the children's playground at the Precinct area over the main road from Roadhouse. If you're interested in history, our History Room at the Hallett Hall is open by appointment.
Pets are permitted. Please clean-up after your pets.
