Description

Campsites must be booked prior to arrival to the park. Located in the Coorong National Park, Parnka Point has 13 campsites across two campgrounds. Camp sites overlook the Coorong Lagoon and some offer shelter provided by trees. Sites are suitable for tents and camper trailers. The camping areas best suited for caravans are 42 Mile Crossing, Parnka Point, Long Point and Mark Point. Sites in the park are not powered. Taking a caravan below 42 Mile Crossing is not recommended because of unpredictable terrain. Facilities include toilets, non-potable water, boat ramp and sheltered picnic tables (located at Parnka Point). Dogs are not permitted.
