Description

Roonka is a great camping facility with capacity for 150+ people. It is well shaded, grassed and drained sites. There are powered and unpowered sites, suitable for tents, camper trailers, caravans, motorhomes and campervans. Facilities include toilets, showers, bunkrooms, and two kitchen-dining rooms. Also has a private Billabong, River Murray access ramps, riverfront water slide, twin flying fox and paddlecraft for hire. Powered boats are welcome but no jetskis. The camp is staffed by friendly volunteer Caretakers and weekend Camp Hosts. Call Phone 1 Mon-Fri 9am-5pm or Phone 2 Sat-Sun 9am-5pm before arriving and avoid disappointment as the camp does also host some Sole Occupancy bookings, e.g. School, Scout Groups and celebrations.
