Hookeys Waterhole is part of the Neales River System and Lake Eyre Basin Catchment.
As one of the regions permanent waterholes it provides refuge to a range of fish, birds and mammals.
- Access the area by foot only.
- Do not leave rubbish behind. There are no rubbish collections in the Outback Areas.
- No campfires.
- No Motorbikes.
- No Off Road Driving
NO CAMPING AT THIS SITE.
NB. NO CAMPING OR PUBLIC ACCESS 20M EITHER SIDE (*) OF THE KEMPE ROAD (AND THE OODNADATTA TRACK) WHILST ON ALLANDALE STATION.
* Using the centre of the road as the starting point.
