Self-sufficient bush camping is permitted in Lake Newland Conservation Park. This camping area is located at the base of the sand dunes. 2WD accessible. Continue through open gate at end of the road and turn left through the adjacent gate. No facilities. Just a quiet out of the way spot. A little exposed to South Westerly winds.
Room for 4 or so campers in two cul-de-sacs.
A little tight to turn a large caravan through the gates. Left hand turn is completed by turning 270 degrees around to the right like a U-turn. Okay for up to 18 foot.
Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace.
There are no toilet facilities at this site. If you do not have your own toilet, bury human waste at least 100m from tracks, camping areas and water bodies. Bury toilet paper or bag and dispose of in a bin once you leave the site.
Pets are not permitted.
