Located 1km north of the Kuitpo Forest Information Centre
with access from Brookman Road. This popular picnic area is nestled amongst a small area of 1920s trial Pine and Eucalypt plantations with picnic tables, a pit toilet and access to walking trails from the carpark on Black Nursery Road.
Forest Trail
Multi-use Trail for walkers, horse riders and cyclists.
Distance: 3 km return.
Time: allow 1.5 hours to walk the trail.
Dogs are welcome in plantation forest areas, provided they are kept under direct control at all times and kept on a leash when in picnic areas or near other forest users or wildlife such as kangaroos. Please be aware fox baiting programs are undertaken periodically in Native Forest Reserves as part of regional native wildlife protection programs.
No camping or overnight parking.
