Enjoy your experience! ----- Experience the Barossa the way no one else does - from the sky! You will feel like a rockstar as you float over the historic vineyards and picturesque valleys, gaining a unique perspective of this world-renowned wine region. Taking a 30-minute scenic helicopter flight provides the ideal opportunity to see more of this stunning region and its iconic attractions in a short amount of time. Enjoy having the helicopter exclusively for your group as all tours are private flights for 2-3 people. Departing Hoffnungsthal Valley, cruise past the quaint town of Lyndoch, along the western ridge and over the palm tree-studded roads that lead to historic Seppeltsfield Winery. This grand estate combines over 160 hectares of ancient vineyards, gardens and heritage-listed architecture. From there you will fly over Maggie Beer's Farm and the famous Penfold's Winery before veering along the eastern side of Nuriootpa to marvel at the scale of the Wolf Blass Winery and the lime quarry near Angaston. From Angaston, the view is an awesome 180-degree view of the Barossa Valley and beyond. As you descend into the valley towards Tanunda, your pilot will point out some of the historic buildings and settlements like Chateau Tanunda and Bethany. Beyond Tanunda is Rowland Flat home of the famous Jacob's Creek Winery, where you will view some of Australia's largest wine tanks, some of which are up to 1.4 million litres each. From there we take you to the southern end of the Barossa, over the Barossa Goldfields and the Whispering Wall before finally returning back to base. Throughout your flight, enjoy live commentary from your experienced pilot as you learn all of the interesting facts and stories of the Barossa. Be sure to bring your camera as this unforgettable experience provides many amazing photo opportunities.
