----- Take your budget further and get 5% off when you use the code WELWIKI5 on your booking through the link on WikiCamps. Enjoy your experience! ----- Sit back and be guided on a delicious journey of discovery as you sample some of Kangaroo Island's best food and wine. This full-day gourmet adventure takes you to renowned cellar doors, distilleries and farm gates to experience a true taste of this South Australian gem. Join your experienced local guide as you start your journey at Clifford's Honey Farm. Here you will find a selection of their quality honey and a range of products from other artisan Kangaroo Island producers, including dressings, chutneys, honey wheat ale and more. A short drive up the road will take you to Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery, where you can sample and purchase the amazing range of eucalyptus products, along with other locally made goodies. Enjoy a tasting of Colony Cove, Kangaroo Island's very own cider. Try a medium dry, medium sweet, vintage, non-alcoholic and sparkling cider to help you decide your favourite! Travel back into Kingscote to enjoy a fresh and flavoursome lunch at the popular Cactus Cafe. After lunch, take a short drive to the Bay of Shoals Wines overlooking the picturesque vineyards and sheltered bay. Indulge in a tasting of their award-winning wines whilst drinking in the views. Alternately, visit the cellar door at The Islander Estate at Cygnet River and taste the only 5-star James Halliday-rated wines on the island (although this is closed on Wednesdays). The next stop is Kangaroo Island Spirits, the makers of the world's best contemporary gin. Discover and decide for yourself with a tasting of their boutique gin, liqueurs and vodka.
