This mine is located on the southern Fleurieu Peninsula, 100km south of Adelaide on Talisker Conservation Park. It produced silver-lead bullion between 1862 and 1872, and the township of Silverton was established with a population of up to 300 people. Walk to the lookout for a beautiful view of Kangaroo Island.
No camping or overnight parking.
