The Loxton Historical Village
Point of InterestDescription
Step back in time at The Loxton Historical Village, and enter an era when bread was baked at home in a wood-fuelled oven and when horses pulled ploughs to cultivate the land.
Learn more about the stories of the early settlers and their families, and see over 45 buildings and exhibits within The Village, including a bakery, bank, blacksmith, printing office, motor garage and even the dentist.
Visitors have enough time to thoroughly explore The Village, and for some it may take about two hours. Pets are welcome, and guests are also welcome to bring a picnic lunch. There's also a shop where a selection of Lollies, drinks, ice creams, and treats are sold.
