Blackberry Inn (Forest Sports Centre)
CampgroundDescription
Welcome to the quiet town of Forest, just a stone's throw from the tourist spots of Stanley and the Tarkine Drive.
A toilet is by the multi-sports court at the entrance.
You will find drinking water, very good bore water, at the upgraded camp room.
Please also use the large bins for any rubbish and leave the place as you find it.
Dogs are welcome and you will find lots of locals take their pets to the oval for exercise.
There is a playground for the kiddies, and a whole oval to run around on.
The enclosed seating area is finished just for campers. The lights are on a timer and activate the PowerPoints.
The Forest Sports Centre (known as The Blackberry Inn) is owned by the community and run by volunteers, by staying here every cent of your fees goes straight back into maintaining the grounds and facilities for everyone to use.
Please enjoy your stay, pop on for a drink any time the bar is open (we always open Sunday afternoon for our members draw and raffle), the locals love a good chat and are very welcoming.
The Forest General Store has all the supplies you can want and sit down or take-away meals. This is also where you will need to pop in to pay fees.
Fees are $10per night each vehicle or $50 a week.
