Policemans Points is within the Bay of Fires Conservation Area. There are no shops or other facilities in this area, so please ensure that you are self-sufficient.
At the Policemans Point Campground you will find numerous unpowered campsites amongst the trees, many with beach access.
There is no water, firewood or rubbish collection at this campground.
Maximum stay 4 weeks.
This section of the Bay of Fires Conservation Area is accessed from St. Helens by taking the C843 Ansons Bay Road and travelling via the Priory north of St Helens Township. Alternatively, travel east 32 klms from Gladstone on the Eddystone Road C843. Travel along the unsealed road (approximately 35 klms) to the junction with South Ansons Bay Road. Turn east into South Ansons Road and follow road approximately 5 klms until it ends the campground.
Dogs are permitted on leash along the 2 'non-beach' sides of Ansons Bay, except up the estuary towards Ansons River Bridge.
